House Party Blog Hop

Welcome to the party! Thanks for hopping by my blog, I hope you're enjoying the party. Maria at Gallo Organico has orchestrated this blog hop for us and there are almost 20 artists participating. A month ago Maria challenged several of us to make a house out of the supplies that she provided us. So when I received the package, I knew right away how I would begin. So here's my house, the title is Burnt Toast, and the caption reads Eat Burnt Toast And It Will Make Your Hair Curly. If you would like to receive my little house, just leave me a message in the comment section telling me you would like to be in on the drawing. On Monday evening, I'll use a random generator to choose the winner. After I post the winner's name, please send me your mailing address. Let's keep this party hoppin'! Your next visit will be to Elizabeth at Hootings of an Owl. If at any time you get lost along the way, please feel free to go back to the beginning at Gallo Organico.

Julie,
I love what you did with this! It is so happy and retro and fun all at the same time! It makes me giggle - maybe it's the red chandelier embellies (or maybe it's the margaritas!).
Regardless of what is is, thanks for joining the party!

Totally retro house Julie - love the beading and feathery flower. Those colours are stunning against the black and white. Have fun hugs Cherry XXX

What a fun wee hoosie and the saying is fabulous - where we come from it's 'you need to eat your crusts if you want curly hair'...lol:)...xox

That's a quote I've never heard, and I wish it were true! Love the beads hanging from the roof and the way you've used the photos.

This made me smile so much and made me think of my dear mum. She always told me that eating your crusts gave you curly hair! Which bacame my excuse for NOT eating them!!!
I love your house, I am so 'into' feathers at the moment and love how you have added some fluff and bling to your design!

Oh, Julie! I love your house. Love the use of the beads and feather boa on the roof top. This is one of my favorite color combinations too. Nicely done!

I love this and the colours. The caption reminds me of my Gran who used to say something similar. Eating the crusts would make your hair curly. It never did for me though !!

I love the use of the bead trim. I have some of that and am dying to use. I was in the house hop but like this post, late to the party. cindy @ snoutkiss.com
