I love the color challenge at the Play Date Cafe this week. The inspiration photo (posted below) spoke 'vintage' to me. This is my entry for the challenge:
All of the images were stamped on ocher vellum and the girl and flowers were colored on the reverse side using Tombow markers. The flower and leaves were also punched from the vellum. All of the rubber stamps (Beeswax, Tim Holtz, Red Lead, Glitz Design) were inked using Tombow markers. Then a little bit of the marker was sponged on the back side. The only exception is the white stamping which is Stazon ink. If you would like to see the detail of the stamping, just click on the photo.
This is the inspiration photo this week. Gotta love it! Be sure to stop by the Play Date Cafe to see all the wonderful pieces created using this color combination.
