By Julie Shoemaker
Another layout of my grand daughter visiting the pumpkin patch. She was so excited that day to get her pumpkin.
This is my first layout intentionally working with 'white space'. I have to really fight the urge to fill in all the empty space. The supplies I used have been in my stash for probably 5 years, but they seemed to work on this page.

Yes, White Space is quite a challenge for me too. I managed my first layout with white space and was very impressed with myself. But sometimes, less really is more!
I like this layout very much. The colours are fresh and happy, while still being autumnal enough for the subject. The felt swirls look so like the tendrils you get on a pumpkin plant and the little orange pumpkin brad is lovely. The cut-out shapes and dots go so well with all the pumpkins in the photos. I love how your granddaughter's little blue coat pops out of the pictures and catches your eye - it just works so well.
A great little layout - with a nice bit of white space.
Nice use of the felt fusion (I think). I love the way that stuff looks, but it sometimes tangles on me, causing me to swear and gnash my teeth.
